 Developed by Tanya Fly, certified personal trainer and mother of two, The NU Method offers a holistic approach to fitness and lifestyle, designed to strengthen and tone the body, and provide motivation and inspiration for mind and spirit. In the words of its founder, “The NU Method is a total body workout tailored to the physical and emotional needs of women, especially new moms.”
The innovative NU Method workout places an emphasis on core strength, but also emphasizes the mind-body connection. Tanya points out, “Success in the NU Method is not only measured by fitting into your ‘skinny jeans,’ it’s about personal fulfillment, self-motivation and finding balance.”
This eclectic-every-woman-city-livin’-Fly girl was born and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan. She avidly pursued dance, was involved in non competitive track/field and musical theater throughout her childhood. As an adult, she has explored a variety of fitness disciplines including Bikram yoga, dance and Pilates.
Following the birth of her first child, Tanya embarked on a personal mission. She explains, “It was time to get my body back, but I had limited time, energy and resources.” So she started training intensively at home while caring for her son. It was this process that motivated her to become a certified trainer and to create the NU Method.
Tanya declares, “The NU Method is the culmination of a lifetime of fitness training--personally and professionally. I have combined what I learned as a mother, a trainer and an active adult to create an innovative program that unlocks every woman’s potential.”
